Ingredienti

  • 150 g Fior delle Alpi
  • 1.5 cups barley 
  • 6 cups water       
  • 6 tbsp fresh herbs, e.g. Thyme, oregano, basil, parsley and rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt, pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Olive oil          

Preparazione

  1. Cook barley until soft according to package insert.
  2. Add chopped herbs, salt, pepper, flour and beaten eggs, mix well.
  3. Add barley portion-wise with a spoon in the pan, forming rounds about the size of a coin and fry in olive oil.
  4. Before serving generously garnish with slivers of the Fior delle Alpi.

Tip: Serve with steamed vegetables.
