Sännächäs
Hearty Wholemeal Bread
Ingrédients
- 200 g Sännächäs
- 30 g sunflower seeds
- 30 g pumpkin seeds
- 100 g walnuts
- 30 g hazelnuts
- ½ tbsp sea salt
- 0.5 kg pure spelt wholemeal flour
- 20 g yeast
- 3.5 dl water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame
Préparation
- Fry sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a frying pan.
- Chop the tree and hazelnuts and mix with the seeds, salt and flour.
- Dissolve yeast in water, add oil and mix with the flour to a smooth dough.
- Dice Sännächäs and knead into the dough. The cheese cubes should be evenly distributed in the dough.
- Shape the dough into a ball, place in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth and let it rise at room temperature for about 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius (390 F). Shape the dough as you like, place it on the baking tray and let it rise for another 15 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in the lower half of the oven. After 10 minutes reduce the heat to 180 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes.
TIP: In addition, chop some fresh figs and add them to the dough.
