The exclusive cheese specialities of Lustenberger & Dürst SA from Hünenberg See are among the big winners of the World Cheese Awards 2016 in San Sebastian, Spain. Our LeGruyère AOP Antique Langrüti is the only Swiss cheese to be listed in the Top 16, making it the best of all Swiss cheeses! It was also one of 66 cheeses to be awarded Super Gold. From more than 3000 cheeses sent in from all over the world! 

Super Gold has also reached our exclusive cheese speciality Jura Montagne. Our jewel of the Swiss mountains, the Fior delle Alpi, won gold. A silver medal goes to our specialities Chateau Heitenried, Lustenberger 1862 aromatic and savoury and Sbrinz AOP. The Lustenberger 1862 fruity and tangy and the Emmentaler AOP Seléction each received a bronze award. 

The World Cheese Awards, organized by the Fine Food Guild, were held from November 16 to 18 in San Sebastian, Spain. For two days, 250 experts tasted and evaluated over 3000 cheese specialities from all over the world.
